About Bosch

German Precision, Built to Last

Bosch is the world's largest manufacturer of home appliances and the benchmark for quiet, efficient dishwashers — with some models operating at just 38 dBA. Their 500 and 800 Series appliances are among the most popular premium products in Canadian kitchens, combining German engineering with practical reliability.

Bosch appliances share a platform with Thermador and Gaggenau under BSH Hausgeräte, but each brand has distinct control systems, components, and service requirements. Our technicians understand the Bosch platform specifically — not just the broader BSH family.

AutoAir & CrystalDry Note: Bosch's advanced drying technologies use zeolite minerals and ventilation mechanics that differ substantially from conventional dishwashers — they require specific knowledge to diagnose correctly when performance declines.

Common Problems

Bosch Issues We Diagnose & Fix

From dishwasher drainage faults to refrigerator cooling failures, our technicians diagnose Bosch appliances accurately the first time.

Dishwasher Not Draining (E24/E25)

Bosch's E24 and E25 error codes indicate drain pump and filter system faults — among the most common Bosch dishwasher repairs. Pump motor, check valve, and drain hose diagnosis.

Refrigerator Not Cooling

Bosch French door and counter-depth refrigerators failing to hold temperature. Evaporator fan, compressor, defrost system, and sealed system diagnosis.

Control Panel Errors

Bosch E-codes on dishwashers and ranges, or unresponsive touch controls. Control module, interface board, and sensor fault diagnosis across all Bosch series.

Range Ignition & Oven Faults

Bosch gas burners not igniting or oven failing to reach temperature. Spark module, igniter electrode, bake element, and temperature sensor repairs.

Dishwasher Water Inlet (E15)

Bosch E15 — water in the base pan triggering the AquaStop flood protection system. We locate the source of the leak, clear the float switch, and restore safe operation.

Induction Cooktop Zones

Bosch induction zones not heating, showing error codes, or shutting off mid-cook. Induction coil, control board, and thermistor faults diagnosed and repaired.

Why Choose Us for Bosch

The Right Technician
for Bosch Engineering

Bosch's integrated systems — AquaStop, CrystalDry, PerfectDry, and their precision inverter motors — behave differently from conventional appliances. Generic appliance technicians often misdiagnose Bosch faults and replace the wrong components.

Bosch-specific diagnostics

We read Bosch error codes correctly and know the common failure modes for each series.

Genuine Bosch parts

OEM components — not aftermarket substitutes that compromise Bosch's performance engineering.

Red Seal certified

Canada's highest trade certification for appliance technicians.

Questions

Bosch Repair FAQ

What does Bosch error code E24 mean on my dishwasher?
E24 indicates the dishwasher is not draining within the expected time. The most common causes are a blocked drain filter (check and clean it first — this resolves E24 in many cases), a kinked drain hose, or a failed drain pump motor. If cleaning the filter doesn't resolve it, the pump motor or check valve typically needs replacement.
My Bosch dishwasher shows E15 and won't start. Is this serious?
E15 means water has accumulated in the base pan, triggering Bosch's AquaStop flood protection. The machine locks out to prevent water damage. The immediate fix is to tilt the machine slightly forward to drain the base pan and reset the float switch — but the underlying leak source must be identified and repaired to prevent recurrence.
Is Bosch worth repairing vs. replacing?
For 800 Series and most 500 Series appliances, repair is almost always worth it. Bosch's build quality means the appliance has substantial remaining service life after a repair. The calculus changes for older entry-level models where repair cost approaches replacement cost — we'll give you an honest assessment.
Do you carry Bosch parts on your service vehicle?
We stock the most common Bosch service components. For less frequently needed parts, we typically source them within 2–5 business days through our supply network and return to complete the repair.
