ASKO was founded in Sweden in 1950 and built its reputation on laundry and dishwashing appliances engineered for Nordic durability standards. Now owned by Gorenje (part of Hisense Group), ASKO continues to manufacture in Sweden and maintains its identity as a premium Scandinavian appliance brand widely respected for long service life and efficient operation.

ASKO washers, dryers, and dishwashers are not interchangeable with North American platform appliances — their motor technology, control systems, and component architecture are distinctly European. Our technicians understand the ASKO platform and carry appropriate diagnostic tools for it.

Why does my ASKO washer vibrate excessively?
Excessive vibration in ASKO front-loaders is most commonly caused by worn or failed shock absorbers, a failed drum bearing, or an unbalanced load that has shifted the drum. Shock absorber replacement is the most frequent repair. Bearing replacement is more involved but still cost-effective given ASKO's overall build quality.
